1. Containers and Container Cargo
Containers are transportation equipment with certain technical standards, which should conform to the definition of containers.
Containers are divided into international standard, domestic standard and non-standard containers.
Containers to be carried may be containers consigned by the shipper or containers owned by the carrier.
Container cargo refers to the cargo that can be packed into a container and transported by car.
Container goods are divided into FCL goods and LCL goods.
2. Type of transport
According to the nature of the goods carried by containers, container truck transport is divided into ordinary container and special container truck transport.
Special boxes include dangerous goods boxes, cold storage boxes, tank boxes, etc.
According to the type of container and the contract of trade and transport, container truck transport is divided into international container and domestic container truck transport.
3. Transport vehicles
The container transport vehicle provided by the carrier shall be in good technical condition, equipped with a turnlock device, and shall meet the requirements of the containers carried and meet the requirements of the total mass of the containers carried.
Container transport vehicles usually adopt single type or train combination type of tractor and semi-trailer. Semi-trailer can be divided into frame type, flat type and self-loading and self-unloading type.
4. Container highway transfer station and freight station
The installation and equipment of container highway transfer stations and freight stations should comply with the requirements of GB/T 12419 "Stations Classification and Equipment Allocation of Container Highway Transfer Stations".
The terminal operator shall be equipped with special loading and unloading machinery and machinery for loading and unloading containers. The loading and unloading machinery shall have special sphanger for containers. The rated lifting weight of the loading and unloading machinery shall meet the requirements of the total weight of containers.
The packing and unpacking operation machinery should be able to adapt to the packing operation.
